Since 2001, Linda Servis, Real Estate Consultant, has performed her usual highly-honed real estate duties with a difference. Linda never charges a real estate commission! She works only on an hourly basis. Just like your accountant and your attorney. And the fee is capped at the prevailing real estate commission rate for the area where the property is located. Thus, you would never pay more for Linda’s services than for any other real estate broker or agent while buying or selling California property.

Traditional real estate brokers are valued for their local market knowledge, access to listings, relationships with other agents, and “driving the process”. But when searching for our SF home, we knew what we were looking for, and in which neighborhoods – and the vast majority of listings are published. We didn’t need anyone to “drive the process”, and certainly weren’t wanting to pay a broker fee based on the value of our new home (vs. the broker work performed). Linda’s a la carte hourly service model suited our needs perfectly. We received professional and attentive service from a veteran local broker, and was able to put our (substantial) savings from the broker fee towards boosting our offer…landing us our dream house. The whole experience was so easy that we used Linda again years later to sell that same home!

Linda was an excellent realtor for our Portola Valley Ranch transaction. She was quick to familiarize herself with the local market, and engaged with the other local agents in a professional manner. She aided us in all aspects of prepping the house for sale, including clean up, staging, disclosures etc. Ours was a relatively complex sale involving two separate transactions for estate planning reasons, but she handled it all very cleanly and efficiently. And lets not forget the bottom line; as a consequence of Linda’s hourly rate, which frankly really makes a lot of sense in this outrageous central California home market, Linda saved us somewhere in the neighborhood of $144,000. You would think for that kind of savings you would have to put up with poor service or other problems, but this was truly as smooth as it gets. 5 star.
